Why send your child to Dance and Musical Theatre Lessons?

November 18, 2021 by admin

There are so many reasons to encourage your child to take dance lessons.

There are health benefits but also it encourages creativity, it teaches self-discipline, confidence, grace, and poise.

Here are just a few reasons:

Physical health

Taking regular dance lessons or classes increases your child’s fitness, strength, and flexibility. They learn correct posture and poise reducing risks of injury in later life.

Confidence and Self esteem

Children who enjoy dancing, singing and acting are able to freely express themselves. This freedom allows them to channel their emotions in a safe environment. Alongside this, lifelong friends can be made at dancing.

They work as a team, encourage one another, and develop trust with their peers. The result is a child growing in confidence and self-belief.

Creativity

All of our dance lessons and classes encourage imagination and creativity. From catching fairies to falling madly in love, showing off our skills and learning new ones. We can escape and for the time in the lesson, we can be anything we want to be.

Discipline

Children learn to be responsible. They need to wear the correct uniform for each style of class, be respectful to their peers and the teachers. A lesson that will see them well through life.
